Concord Sports is a ministry of First Baptist Concord dedicated to inspiring athletes to follow Jesus. Through a variety of youth and adult programs, we aim to provide more than just competition, we create a Christ-centered environment where individuals can build character, develop their skills, and experience authentic community. At Concord Sports, we believe athletics are a powerful platform to teach life lessons, strengthen relationships, and ultimately point people toward a greater purpose, competing and living for the glory of God.

Winter Basketball
League Overview
Ages: K4 - 4th grade
Skill Levels: Beginner to Experienced
K4 - K5:
* Saturday only
* Approximately 20-25 minutes of instruction followed by 20-25 minutes of game play
* Small teams, modified rules, and age- appropriate roll-away goals
* Focus on fundamentals, confidence, participation, and fun
1st - 2nd grade:
* One weekday practice each week
* Practices held Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday
* Saturday games focus on skill development, teamwork, and learning the game
3rd - 5th grade:
* One weekday practice each week
* Practices held Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday
* Saturday games: more traditional game structure and rules
* Continued emphasis on development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Season: January-February 2027
* Uniform included with registration
* Boys and girls will compete in separate divisions as registration numbers allow
Coaches & Volunteers
Each team must have a Head Coach present at all practices and games.
* Assistant Coaches and Team Parents are encouraged.
* Background checks and basic training required
